I am always looking for little projects I can do to my kid’s rooms, I want them to love their space. Their rooms are their world and it should reflect them. In the past year some of the changes I did were small and inexpensive but made a huge difference. I changed the knobs on my daughter’s furniture and dressed up her walls with wall stickers. I found a great etsy boutique for knobs, you can also find fun knobs at participating Bellini stores.

Another great etsy find are wall stickers or decals. My daughter and I really enjoyed picking out her own colors and mix and matching different shapes. Most of the time you can order wall stickers and make them as custom as you like. I love how these wall stickers are bright and can bring out your child’s personality.

For my son’s room we wanted something he could create his own star wars galaxy. We painted a whole wall with chalkboard paint; you can go to your local paint store to find it. It works and cleans just like a real chalkboard. You could even paint a small circle or small area if you didn’t want to paint a whole wall. If you have a smaller bedroom or nursery you might like that look, and kids still love decorating them.
Of course you could always do a wall decal for a boys room. I love how this one is personalized and against a bright painted wall.
So, now that you are inspired go make some small changes in your kids rooms, they will love it!
