Jessica Simpson may have just given birth, but that hasn’t stopped her from her latest fashion project: maternity wear. Jessica has teamed up with Destination Maternity to offer a line of clothing that will hit over 700 stores this fall. Above is a sneak peak of what’s to come.

Recently, however, I have discovered an organization system for my son’s playroom that has left the mess gods brooding.  While dropping my son off at preschool, I was complaining to a fellow toddler-mom about my dilemma.  She leaned in closely as if to share a secret of astronomical proportions.  What she said instead was one word that would change my life: “bins.”  You can get them at Target or Walmart or just about anywhere.  They come in all shapes, sizes, and colors.  But, these bins all share one thing in common: snap lids that are extremely difficult for a toddler to open.

This mom – goddess mom – explained that I should place my son’s toys in bins by category… cars in one bin, trains in another, trucks in a third, etc etc.  I should open one bin at a time during play.  If my son wanted to move on to another bin, all the stuff from bin one had to be put away first.

Genius.

My son’s playroom is organized now.  And clean.  I feel like a better mom.  Maybe it’s the 30 minutes of extra sleep I get each night.

A new found obsesion of mine and a huge celebrity favorite, Tom & Drew. Stacking Throne by Laurens Van Wierigen    Material: Foam, soft coating, lacquered wood & steel  Size: 92,5 x 74,5 x 85,5  Type: prototype for Bodile, Simone & Maurice  The Stacking Throne was a private commission and especially designed for 1 year old girl, Bodile.  She can now use it throughout her life. 4 of 5 foam parts can be taken out and used as her imagination suits her. Some girl’s just get lucky!

 This room has more of a modern feel, they even used black and gray for the bedding.  Use gray where you would a neutral and have fun with colors.

This sweet and modern nursery wanted it to be an easy transition from baby to toddler with current colors and feel. With the fuschia ottoman and soft pink colors used in the bedding and wall decor it has accomplished a perfect transition when that time arrives.
