This time last year, I had just given birth to my third child and was on the hunt for something that would make me look pretty but would hide my “fourth trimester” belly and bumps. It was not impossible…but it wasn’t easy. Everything seemed to be too tight, too loose, too fancy, not fancy enough…and the list went on and on. In the end, I settled for a pair of leggings and comfortable sweater dress with a belt. Truth be told, it was the “hit of the party” besides the new baby herself.
While this year I have finally shed those last few baby weight pounds, I still am on the hunt for something mom-friendly that the baby won’t get scratched on, won’t get snagged, won’t show-off my behind should I have to pick-up the sippy cup for the tenth time and isn’t so expensive that if the baby spits up on it, I wouldn’t care. Sure you could just wear a pair of jeans and a t-shirt like you do everyday but this year, I encourage you to shed your “mom uniform” and go for a sassy and sexy look that will make you feel and look beautiful…all while holding that beautiful baby of yours.
