I have always been drawn to painted furniture, but my latest obsession is “Stenciled Furniture”.  It brings a personalized touch to the room, adds color and depth, and looks fabulous.  I was so inspired when I came across Liz Marie’s blog, she shares great ideas and images.

I love the colors, the monogram, and the idea behind this whole piece.  A great addition to a child’s room or nursery.

Have you always wanted to add a design element to a boy’s room and didn’t know how?  This is a perfect way bring in a theme and color.  This piece had the image come through as the furniture stain, which looks great.

Don’t want to go as bold?  Try a simple stencil roller with your favorite paint color.  You can create small or big patterns in a specific area or all over.  It gives off a wallpaper look with out the cost.  It’s a fun and easy DIY project.
