You have seen it in design magazines for several years. It’s just is one of those “got to have” pieces. I would recommend, at the very least, using a cool Lucite lamp. There are some companies producing really affordable cocktail tables and consoles. I think Lucite/acrylic pieces add a bit of retro glam to all decors. Give it a try and of course they can be used in any room of the house. How fabulous it would be in a nursery or playroom!
