I don’t know what little girl doesn’t love a day bed and why not, you can image your in your very own princesses castle.  What I love most about day beds is how well they transition into teen rooms.  You can make them glamourous by adding a fabric canopy or very simple with a few throw pillows.

I love how the walls and canopy blend into each other which makes all of the colors on the bed really pop.

One of my favorites to date, designed by Caitlin Sancimino out of Connecticut.  Love the tutu bed skirt with the bright pinks and purple.  Dare to do purple walls?  Yes!  This room will definitly grow with a little girl.

Beautiful and sophisticated with neutral coloring!   This day bed is by Art For Kids and can be found at Bellini Boutiques.  This bed is full of detail and charm you do not need bold bedding and pillows, less is more for this room.

Day Bed for a teen or two.  Love this white with posp of pink and the nail head trim on the day beds.  Who wouldn’t want to rock it out in this room?
