Painted windows shades is something that I have been seeing a lot lately, especially in playrooms and nurseries.  I think they add a nice pop of color, a great way to show some art in a creative way.  If you are afraid of wallpaper or have a small space it works well, and you can always change them up!

I love how this one gives a bit of a modern feel, you can see more designs like this at OrangePiel.com.

Go custom!  Tell your kids to have fun and design your own.  The playroom is a perfect place to display them.

For your total space nut or Star Wars fan.  Another great design idea to take imagination to the next level.  This creation is from Blue Frog creative printing.

I purchased some of these custom made shades from Blue Frog Creative and my wife and I were very impressed with the quality and color of the shades. The room took on a whole new life.
