All American Boy

I don’t know what it is but when I think of a boy’s room, all that comes to mind is the colors red and blue, vintage Baseball gloves, and a rustic rug.  With July 4th holiday around the corner I wanted to spot light some of my favorite accessories to achieve your all american boy’s room.

I love this sophisticated blue and white fabric from Annette Tatum, it so sharp and the blue just pops.  Every boy’s room should have some sort of seating, one of my favorites is the weathered leather pouf from Serena and Lily, reminds me of a vintage baseball glove.

If you want to add a little decor without adding too much, switching out your knobs is the way to do it.  These are a perfect rustic feel and add just a little bit of color that you might need. You don’t have to be afraid of using throw pillows for a boys rooms, just make sure they are tailored.

When I add wall art to a boy’s room I like it to be vintage looking or weathered.  This wall art is from oopsy daisy and I love that it can be personalized!  Rugs are important in any room, as with the pillows, make sure it is a tailored rug and uses the darker colors that are already used in the room.
