To use a bumper or not to use a bumper is a hot topic with new parents these days.  Although it’s not illegal to use a crib bumper the baby market is creating some bumper alternatives to give new parents options.  Skip Hop has introduced their “complete Sheet”. A fitted sheet that features a bold design around the sides with a coordinated pattern on top, separated by linen piping for a finished look. Your crib will look fully dressed even if you choose not to use a bumper.  The sheets come in a few different modern designs.

Another alternative bumper is the “Wonder Bumper” by Go Mama Designs.  I really like this concept and is available in a few different patterns and colors.  The vertical design zippers onto your crib in a downward direction so your baby does not have the ability to pull them off.  They protect your babies head and body and still allows better airflow.
