Cozy Handmade Baby Blankets

Now that the weather is getting cooler it is a great time to think of ways to keep the little ones warm. I remember when my kids were young I would love to make them blankets. I always had creative hands and crocheting was so therapeutic for me . It is a very portable craft and can be picked up and worked on whenever you find a free moment.  I recommend it to anyone looking to take on a warm project.

I took a look around on etsy for women who are creating these wonderful timeless granny square blankets and I found some amazing ones!

Hopefully these inspire you to make your own!

For any one interested in trying this craft, I have included a tutorial on making granny squares. http://www.craftstylish.com/item/1437/granny-square-how-to They even include a video.

TOP PICTURE, the blanket is very sweet. The wallpaper behind is- is a nightmare. Literally, I have had nightmares, and they look like this wall paper.
